1. About Us
New Forest Pools is a sole trader business providing swimming pool and hot tub maintenance services throughout the New Forest and surrounding Hampshire & Dorset areas.
By booking or using our services, you agree to the terms outlined below.

2. Services Provided
We offer:
- Swimming pool cleaning and maintenance
- Hot tub servicing and water balancing
- Pool opening and winterisation
- Filter media changes
- Green pool recovery services
- Holiday let pool and hot tub maintenance
- Equipment checks and minor repairs
All services are carried out with reasonable care and skill in accordance with UK consumer law.
3. Bookings & Appointments
- Regular maintenance visits are scheduled in advance.
- One-off visits must be confirmed prior to attendance.
- We reserve the right to reschedule due to severe weather, safety concerns, or circumstances beyond our control.
4. Call-out charges
A £50 call-out charge applies to:
- Diagnostic visits
- Emergency visits
- Equipment inspections
- Visits where no repair or maintenance is ultimately carried out
This charge covers travel time and attendance and is payable regardless of outcome.
5. Payments
One-Off Visits
Payment for one-off services is due on the day of service, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Failure to make payment on the day may result in additional administrative charges and suspension of future bookings.
Regular Maintenance Services
Invoices for regular maintenance services are payable within 7 days of the invoice date, unless otherwise agreed.
We reserve the right to:
- Suspend services for overdue accounts
- Charge statutory interest on late payments in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998 where applicable
- Recover reasonable costs incurred in pursuing overdue debts
Call-Out Charges
A £50 call-out charge applies to diagnostic visits, emergency visits, and situations where attendance is required but no repair or maintenance is carried out. This charge is payable regardless of outcome.
6. Access Requirements
Clients must ensure:
- Clear and safe access to the pool or hot tub area
- Safe electrical supply where required
- Adequate water level for circulation
- Pets are secured
- Covers are removable without obstruction
Missed visits due to lack of access may be chargeable.
7. Water Chemistry & Results
While we take every reasonable step to correctly balance water:
- Weather conditions, heavy usage, and equipment failure may affect water quality after our visit
- Green pool recovery may require multiple treatments
- We cannot guarantee water clarity if filtration systems are faulty or undersized
Ongoing water balance between visits remains the responsibility of the owner unless a maintenance agreement is in place.r holiday let properties:
- We maintain water safety and chemical balance at the time of service.
- We are not responsible for misuse by guests after departure.
- Emergency call-outs may incur additional charges.
8. Equipment Condition & Pre-Existing Faults
We are not responsible for:
- Pre-existing equipment faults
- Age-related component failure
- Undersized or incorrectly installed systems
- Structural pool defects
- Leaks within underground pipework.
- If faults are identified, we will advise accordingly.
9. Frozen pipes & Winter Damage
New Forest Pools is not liable for:
- Frozen pipework
- Frost damage
- Burst plumbing
- Damage caused by extreme cold weather
- It is the property owner’s responsibility to ensure appropriate winterisation measures are taken.
- We strongly recommend professional winter closing procedures where applicable.
10. Holiday Let Properties
For holiday lets:
- Water is balanced and safe at the time of service
- We are not responsible for misuse, contamination, or chemical imbalance caused by guests after departure
- Emergency call-outs may incur additional charges
11. Chemicals & Materials
All chemicals provided are chargeable unless included in a service package
Prices may vary depending on supplier costs
Only appropriate UK-compliant pool chemicals are used
12. Social Media & Marketing Use
From time to time, New Forest Pools may take photographs or short videos of pools, equipment, or completed work for marketing and promotional purposes.
- No personal identifying information will be published without consent
- Property addresses will not be disclosed
- If a client prefers that their pool or equipment is not featured, they must notify us in writing
By engaging our services, you consent to reasonable marketing use unless you opt out.
13. Health & Safety
We reserve the right to refuse service where conditions are unsafe, including:
Chemical storage hazards
Electrical hazards
Unsafe decking or access
Aggressive animals
14. Limitation of Liability
Our liability is limited to the value of the service provided.
We are not liable for:
- Indirect or consequential loss
- Loss of use
- Business interruption
- Damage caused by equipment failure outside our control
Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
15. Force Majeure
We are not liable for delays or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including severe weather, supplier shortages, or power outages.

These Terms & Conditions may be updated periodically. The latest version will always be available on our website.
